A consultation is a conversation, not a sales pitch. You tell Vincent A. Colbert what you are trying to do — sell the family house, buy your first place, pick up a rental, move a commercial building — and he tells you straight what that looks like in today's Southeast Michigan market. With 28 years in real estate behind him, he has seen enough cycles to know the difference between a quick sale and a smart one. There is no cost and no obligation.
What a Consultation Actually Looks Like
You deal with Vincent directly. Not an assistant, not a rotating team — the same licensed Michigan Realtor from the first conversation through to closing. That means when you have a question at 5pm on a Tuesday, you already know who is picking up.
Most first meetings cover the same ground: where you are now, where you want to be, and what the numbers have to look like for the move to make sense. If you are selling, that usually means talking price, timing and what (if anything) is worth doing to the property before it hits the market. If you are buying, it means getting clear on neighborhoods, financing and what your money genuinely buys in places like Birmingham, Troy, Farmington or West Bloomfield — which can be very different things.
- A frank read on your property's value or your buying power
- Realistic timing — how long things are taking right now, not last year
- Which communities fit your budget, commute and plans
- Costs you should expect, including the ones people forget
- What happens next, in order, so nothing is a surprise
Meetings happen at the office on Orchard Lake Road, at your property, or over the phone if that is simpler. Weekday appointments run Monday through Friday from 8:00am to 6:00pm, and Saturdays from 12:00pm to 5:00pm.
